The Things I'm Working On At The Moment.

This week it has really rained down with tasks to do for uni and life. Over the weekend i was away from Melbourne with my family and although it was only 3 days i feel like i have missed out on so much. I have come back Monday with a full schedule in my diary and and trying to figure out where i can find the time to get everything done. The time for blog writing has been scheduled to 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, so here we go. I will be just talking about all of the different projects i am apart of and what i am doing to contribute.

LIVE SOUND For the last week in our live sound intensive we are to come up with a stage plan and a booklet outlining the different roles that will be delegated between us, and a stage plan for both of our bands. I have confirmed Magic Is Happening will be our opening band and CIVIQUE will be our support act. Both of these band this morning, confirmed that the live show will be on Thursday 30th of March at around 7 or 8pm. I have also contacted some film students to help us out with making a live music video for both of these artists.

PODCAST GROUP As i came in on the train this morning from visiting family i got off and walked straight to a little cafe to meet up with my podcast group to have a meeting about the next step in completing this assignment. We brainstormed venues and artists to interview while setting up some times to record the interviews. I have been tasked to get in touch with Salvador Darling who is a large DJ in the LGBT scene in Melbourne, as it would be interesting to hear from many areas of the nightlife scene. I have also been tasked to come up with a list of Foley that we could use on the podcast and start thinking about how i can make that happen.

LIVE SOUND OUTSIDE OF UNI I have been asked to do live sound for 2 more gigs over the next month. One at Revolver with Fourth Place and their EP launch and one at Bar Open with Holey Peyote. I am excited about those gigs because i think they will be the biggest ones i have done so far.

Aswell as 2 CIU assignments that i haven't started working on yet but i am thinking and brainstorming ideas in my head, and juggling 25 hours of work i will have a busy week ahead of me.
